Over 6,000 life-saving, wood-burning stoves for heating, cooking, and boiling water have been delivered to families stuck at the frontline of the war zone.

FOOD AID ARRIVES AT ZAPORIZHZHIA LOGISTICS CENTRE IN SOUTH UKRAINE

Truckloads of tons of food aid continue to arrive at the Zaporizhzhia city warehouse every week.

More than 2,000 tons of FOOD AID have been delivered to cities in the Donetsk region, including Slovyansk, Izyum, Lyman, and villages in the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions.

During the summer and fall months, thousands of tons of food and other aid have been delivered to various destinations from this warehouse in the frontline areas.

HEAT AND COOKING ARE ESSENTIAL

Electricity and heating options are an issue, with large areas of Ukraine currently without power. Russia has bombed many of Ukraine’s power distribution centers. Ukraine needs our help more than ever. A simple stove as a source of heat and for cooking can be had for $150. Many are needed. Together we can make a difference, supporting Ukrainians in yet another way amidst this devastating war.

AID TO UKRAINIAN CHILDREN’S HOSPITALS

GCMM together with our partners has delivered thousands of tons of humanitarian aid to Ukraine, including to the city hospital for children in Khmelnytskyi. The load included intensive care unit monitoring equipment and electrically operated hospital beds. We delivered aid to the hard-hit city hospitals in Kryvi Rih as well.

KHMELNYTSKYI CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL COURTYARD

HUMANITARIAN AID to the Khmelnytskyi children’s hospital

The aid included ICU monitoring equipment, electric hospital beds, hygiene supplies, drip stands for IVs etc.

SLOVYANSK FIELD HOSPITAL

A patient who was wounded from a Grad rocket attack came to the field hospital for treatment. He survived. Shrapnel was removed from his head.  Hannu Haukka, GCMM President, was conversing with the patient.

KYIV TRAUMATOLOGICAL HOSPITAL

More than 70 seriously wounded soldiers from the frontlines were transported to the hospital from Bakhmut and Kharkiv. GCMM supplied the field hospital with metal detectors, suitable for surgical procedures.

SLOVYANSK FIELD HOSPITAL

A wounded patient was brought to the field hospital in the Slovyansk region for treatment. A Grad rocket had exploded a few meters away. The left side of the man’s body had been hit with dozens of shrapnel fragments, affecting his head as well.

HULIAIPOLE VILLAGE, ZAPORIZHZHIA REGION

This village belongs to the humanitarian aid distributing area, of the Zaporizhzhia logistics center. Relief aid is delivered every other week.

ORIKHIV, ZAPORIZHZHIA REGION

The village belongs to the Zaporizhzhia region, which is part of the logistics center area that receives assistance every other week.

NOVOSELIVKA, DONETSK REGION

The village belongs to the Donetsk region, receiving relief aid every other week from the logistics center.

TERNOPIL LOGISTICS CENTER

Humanitarian aid for this logistics center in western Ukraine is delivered across the border from Poland.
